DOG AGILITY

  SATURDAY - Agility

Instructor Chris Mancini owns a Beardie/Border cross Taggie, and two cats. She has been training dogs for over 20 years, runs her own puppy classes and teaches/trains agility at Trent Park Agility Club. Although competing fairly regularly at agility (time permitting) the most important element is handler and dog having fun.

The day's emphasis will be agility as a 'fun' sport for you and your dog to participate in.
Including: A preview of all the usual agility equipment - check where you are at with agility. Motivation - building a fun relationship with your dog, and so increasing your dog's speed and accuracy. Delivery and timing of rewards.Tighter turns, accurate contacts, weave entries, different jump combinations.

HANDLERS WILL NEED TO BRING: Generous amounts small extra tasty treats. Dogs favourite toy (no squeakers please). Sensible footwear. Clickers if used. Lots of enthusiasm!
