Think Dog! Certificate

The original course by John Fisher, founder of the APDT. Revised and updated by Sarah Whitehead

 This six-month course is nationally recognised as a fully accredited course by the Open College Network and is open to all as a foundation in the subject of behaviour and training. The course is home-study based, illustrated, with accompanying DVD material and includes some field-based research.

Tutored by Sarah Whitehead, it represents the cutting edge of modern behaviour theories and training practice today.

Think Dog! Intermediate

This is the next stage of the Think Dog! programme, designed for those who wish to increase their knowledge and understanding and look more deeply into behavioural problems, training, emotional states and the role of the behaviour counsellor. This course is ideal for those who wish to continue their learning and develop their skills as a practitioner.

Think Dog! Advanced

This advanced course is home-study based, and includes some practically-based observations and research. The course is intended to deepen existing knowledge, while also examining in-depth areas such as emotionality, the brain and behaviour and a multitude of case histories!

Think Dog Practical with Stella Bagshaw and Sarah Whitehead

This two-day all practical clicker training course takes place in a rescue centre, giving you the opportunity to assess and train unknown dogs and giving the dogs the training they need to help find new homes.

Training for the Future – Puppy Class Instructor Course

Theory and practical course in running exceptional puppy classes, all based on the most modern and enjoyable training methods.
