About Workshop Learn how to reduce stress and build trust with your dog during grooming, vet visits, and daily care. This workshop teaches practical handling techniques, consent-based training, and stress-free husbandry skills. Empowers dogs to participate willingly in care routines, making treatments easier and more positive for everyone. Also steps for no choice care - when you have to get stuff done and don't yet have the skills or set up. Roxy Davies (MAPDT 1498) is a highly experienced dog trainer and behaviour specialist with a BSc (Hons) from the University of Lincoln. She has trained internationally, including three years in the USA, and has a background as a teacher and lecturer in behaviour science. With a passion for cooperative care, Roxy specialises in working with dogs experiencing medical and husbandry-related stress, helping to restore trust and confidence. She offers online husbandry classes and provides CPD for vets and groomers. As a specialist in aggression and anxiety, she is dedicated to supporting both dogs and their owners through ethical, science-based training. Roxy is neurodiverse, and dogs—along with the people who love them—are her lifelong mastermind topic. Roxy loves to wild swim (even when its 0C), camp and many crafts.
