Types of Search And Rescue Dogs

This webinar will cover examples of types of SAR Dogs, their subtle differences and their methods of indication. Keith Warwick is an experienced dog handler, instructor and assessor. He has worked as a volunteer in the field of search and rescue for over 25 years. He has been a member of the Search and Rescue Dog Association (SARDA) which he joined in 1986. He was appointed Training Officer of SARDA (Lakes) in 1992. He is a retired SAR dog handler & assessor and is currently a member of the Training sub committee of the National Search and Rescue Dog Association (NSARDA), the national umbrella group for SAR dogs in UK. Keith has worked with many working dog groups internationally including; · Norwegian SAR Dogs · Icelandic SAR Dogs · Samsung Companion Dog Academy – South Korea · Swedish Working Dog Group As well as SARDA across the UK. He is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (MAPDT 01036). He is married to Carol who is an invaluable help to him with the running of training sessions. They have a six year old Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Jabu.
