I've always been passionate about helping owners better understand their dogs and strengthening the relationship they share. I believe that effective training and behaviour modification are built on kindness, evidence-based methods and a good understanding of each dog's individual needs. I hold a Master's degree in Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare from the University of Edinburgh and a Postgraduate Degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy from the University of Nottingham. My combination of qualifications allows me to take a holistic approach to behaviour, recognising that behaviour and physical health are closely linked. Many dogs displaying behavioural concerns are also experiencing pain or musculoskeletal discomfort, so I work closely with veterinary surgeons to ensure any underlying medical conditions are identified and appropriately managed before or alongside behaviour modification. Through my Canine Behaviour and Physio Clinic (CBPC), based in Flintshire, I offer one-to-one behaviour consultations, puppy and dog training, veterinary physiotherapy, and educational talks for owners and animal professionals. I also provide home visits within approximately a 30-minute radius. I'm a member of the APDT UK (01481), IRVAP (Veterinary physiotherapist), and an Associate Clinical Animal Behaviourist member of the APBC. Please email me on caninebehaviourandphysioclinic@gmail.com for more information.
